Usage instructions:
Dosage and directions for use: Adults and children 14 years and older: Take 1 capsule daily. Take with water after food. Taking other medicines with Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: Always tell your healthcare professional if you are taking any other medicines (This includes complementary or traditional medicines). Discuss the use of the following medicines in combination with Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV with your doctor or pharmacist: Retinoids (vitamin A derived medicines used ter the treatment of acne), such as isotretinoin and tretinoin. Levodopa and entacapone used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Methyldopa used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Mycophenolate used in the management of auto-immune diseases. Levothyroxine used for the treatment of under active thyroid gland. The following medicines should be taken at least 3 hours before or after Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV since their absorption may be reduced if taken together: Antibiotics, such as fluoroquinolones (e.g. ciprofloxacin) and tetracyclines (e.g. doxycycline). Penicillamine used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Bisphosphonates used for the treatment of osteoporosis (brittle bones due to low bone density), e.g. alendronate.

Storage instructions:
Store at or below 25 degrees C in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Storing and Disposing of Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: Store at or below 25 degrees C in a dry place. Protect from light. Store in original packaging until required for use. . Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label. Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist. Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage systems (e.g. toilets). Store all medicines out of reach of children.

Warnings:
This unregistered medicine has not been evaluated by the SAHPRA for its quality, safety or intended use. Keep out of reach of children. Before You Take / Use Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: Do not take / use Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: If you are allergic to any of the ingredients it contains (see "What Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV Contains"). If you are allergic to soya (see "Important Information about some of the ingredients of Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV"). If you have any problems with calcium metabolism (e.g. abnormally high concentrations of calcium In your blood and urine). If you suffer from a bleeding disorder or are scheduled for any surgical procedures since Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV may contribute to blood thinning. Discontinue use at least 2 weeks prior to any surgical procedures. Take special care with Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: If you have been diagnosed with/suffer from: Inflammatory diseases of your stomach/intestines (see "Possible Side Effects"). Abnormal narrowing or diverticula (small pouch-like branching) of your intestines. If you suffer from or have a family history of conditions/disorders in which the body absorbs and stores too much iron. Discuss the use of Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV with your doctor or pharmacist prior to use if you suffer from any of the above-mentioned conditions. Vitamins and minerals can be obtained from other sources, e.g. daily diet and other supplements. Please take this into consideration when taking Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV. Taking Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV with food or drink: Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV should be taken after a meal with water. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV is safe to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding your baby. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding your baby, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice before taking Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV. Driving and using machinery: The effect of Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV on the ability to drive and use machinery has not been studied. It is unlikely that it will impair your ability to drive or use machines. However, please take care when driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Important information about some of the ingredients of Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: Vital Multivitamin 100% NRV contains soya. You should not take it if you are allergic to soya. The capsule shell contains halaal gelatine of bovine origin. It also contains glycerol and sorbitol. If you have been told that you have an intolerance to glycerol and/or sorbitol, you should not take Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV. How To Take Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: Always take Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV exactly as indicated or as your doctor or pharmacist has instructed you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. The dosage for adults and children 14 years and older is 1 capsule daily. Take with water after a meal. Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV may be taken continuously. If you take more Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV than you should: In the event of overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist If neither is available, contact the nearest hospital or poison control centre. If you take more Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV than you should, it may increase your risk of experiencing side effects (see "Possible Side Effects"). Discontinue the use of Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV immediately. If you forget to take a dose of Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV: If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you do not remember the forgotten dose before the next dose is due, skip the forgotten dose and continue with your regular dosage schedule of 1 capsule per day (every 24 hours). Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten individual dose. Possible Side Effects: Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV can have side effects. Not all side effects reported for Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen or if you experience any untoward effects while taking this medicine, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional for advice. Inform your doctor of the following side effects if they continue or become bothersome: Gastrointestinal irritation, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, burping, flatulence, constipation or loose stools (see "Take special care with Vital Multivitamin 100 % NRV"). Skin rash. If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.
